LOCAL STREET OVERLAYS
This work is already well underway on various local streets (Locke, McClow, Cheyenne, Shorewood, Piute, Arapaho, Navaho Ct, Honeyvale, Arbortown, Chaminade, Chaminade Ct). Most of this work should be finished this week, weather permitting.
MAJOR STREET OVERLAYS
Will follow the local street overlays but no schedule yet received from contractor. Affected streets to include Wilson between CSX RR/Oakes Street, the intersection of Rivertown/Wilson, seam repair on Rivertown near Ivanrest and patches on various major streets.
IVANREST AVENUE WATER MAIN
This work is ahead of schedule and a 2-week closure of Ivanrest to through traffic between Prairie & 44th will begin on July 9 (originally scheduled to start July 17). Local traffic will be able to access their streets intersecting with Ivanrest but may be limited to approaching from either the north or south only, depending on where connections are being made on a given day. Project is scheduled for completion
40TH/ANTIGO LIFT STATION
This will require a 2-day closure of 40th Street at Antigo. In order to avoid conflict with the Ivanrest project, the start date of this project has been moved back to July 23. Date of the 2-day closure has not yet been determined but will not be before July 23.
WILSON RR XING
This is an emergency replacement of the crossing by CSX that we only became aware of yesterday. Wilson will be completely closed at the RR crossing for 5-10 days beginning on July 9. We have asked the street overlay paving contractor to complete the Wilson Avenue milling/repaving at the same time as CSX rebuilds the crossing in order to minimize the time Wilson Avenue is closed.
