The City of Grandville is accepting applications for Department of Public Works summer seasonal maintenance workers. Duties include performing a variety of maintenance tasks related to city parks, cemetery, buildings and facilities. Daily work activities may include mowing, landscape maintenance, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash containers, painting and other general maintenance tasks.
To be considered, candidates must be able to work in various climates, be at least 18 years of age, operate light machinery and possess a valid Michigan driver’s license. Prompt and regular attendance on the job is expected of each employee.
Hours of work: Weekdays 8am to 4pm: up to 40 hours per week (April thru October)
Wages: Starting at $8.90 per hour
