Grandville Christmas Parade
Friday, December 1 7:30 p.m.
This year’s parade once again promises to provide an evening filled with Holiday magic and cheer. The night begins with a pre-parade stop in the Franklin St. Corridor for refreshments$, Reindeer viewing, Dickens Carolers, North Pole houses, photo stops, a short ride on the Holiday Train (free, but lines may be long) and a warm up around the fireplace. Then event goers can line the parade route on Fayette (between Maple and Chicago Dr.) and down Chicago Dr. (between Fayette and Wilson) to enjoy our Grandville Marching Band, local dance and cheer troops, Christmas characters, and numerous floats – all alight. Plan now to attend this special Holiday tradition – welcoming the season with your neighbors, family, and friends.
Grandville Tree Lighting
Monday, December 4 7:00 p.m.
Save the date and plan to join the community downtown Grandville on Monday, December 4 for our Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony! Hear the sweet voices of our area 3rd graders welcoming you with Christmas cheer, enjoy a short Christmas benediction from a local minister, and count down with Mayor Maas as he lights the library tree. Cookies and cocoa will be provided – with Holiday wishes from your Grandville City Council. Please plan to join us at the Library Amphitheater for this special Christmas tradition.
