COUNCIL MEMBER (THREE POSITIONS)

Filing Deadline:  Tuesday, April 23, 2019 by 4:00 PM
Withdrawal Deadline: Friday, April 26, 2019 by 4:00 PM
Primary Election: Tuesday, August 6, 2019 (*IF NECESSARY)
General Election: Tuesday, November 5, 2019

Any qualified residents interested in running for the office of the City of Grandville Council Member can now pick up petition forms and other information on candidate requirements from the City Clerk's office. 

Grandville City Charter requires that candidates: 1) Must be a registered voter in the City of Grandville AND a resident of the City for one year 2) Cannot be in default to the City.

Candidates are urged to file early. Nominating petition forms and supplemental information must be obtained from the City Clerk's office, City Hall, 3195 Wilson Avenue SW, Grandville, Michigan during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 A.M.-5:00 P.M.

Candidates wishing to withdrawal their nomination must do so by Friday, April 26, 2019 at 4:00 PM.  

*If more than twice the number to be elected file for any office, that office will appear on the Primary Election ballot. Twice the number of candidates (6) to be elected will advance to the General Election in November.
