The Grandville Clean Water Plant serves the communities of Grandville, Georgetown Township, Hudsonville, Jamestown Township, and a portion of Blendon Township. Over 19,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers use, on average, around 6 million gallons of water on a day to day basis.
Staff DST Relief Team Website

Once water has been used in these communities, a network of over 300 miles of sanitary sewer lines transport the used water, which is now called wastewater, to the Clean Water Plant. Using physical and biological treatment, the plant cleans the wastewater so it can be returned to nature in a safe manner to protect the watershed environment.

Should you have an emergency related to wastewater treatment or experience a sewer back-up please call (616) 538-1990 during the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM on weekdays. All other times of the day or on weekends and holidays call 911.  Information on the City's Residential Footing Drain Disconnection Program.
