The Grandville Department of Public Works plow crews are doing the best they can given the steady snowfall and winds. All crews and equipment in Grandville are and will be utilized to the maximum extent safety allows through the week. Updates will be posted below as they become available.

You may drop off brush at the DPW year round, this is woody materials only; branches, logs and Christmas trees (grasses, leaves and other compostable material may only be dropped off at DPW during Spring cleanup and Fall leaf drop-off).  This service is available Monday thru Friday from 8:30am - 3:30pm. Before dropping off brush, you must stop by the DPW front office to present proof of residency and obtain a yard pass.

The winter season is upon us, we would like to take a moment to remind you of the Grandville Code of Ordninances 25-168 which states:

"No snow or ice shall be removed from private property and deposited or left upon any public road or any public sidewalk nor shall snow or ice be plowed into or left upon the property, sidewalk, driveway or parkway of another person."

This applies to any resident, contractor or homeowner working within the City of Grandville.   All plow contractors working within the City of Grandville must have a valid Grandville plow license visiable on each truck working within the city.

Snowy winter conditions can cause patched potholes to reoccur without warning. Use care when you see potholes and contact the Department of Public Works (DPW) to filled or refilled the potholes.
