The Grandville Police Department is responsible for serving, protecting, and providing a safe environment for the community of Grandville. The department's goal is to provide high quality personal and professional service to the citizens of Grandville. 

The Grandville Police Department consists of 26 sworn officers, 2 full-time and 1 part-time civilian(s) acting as an administrative assistant and a records clerk. For general inquiries call the non-emergency line at (616) 538-6110.

The mission of the Grandville Police Department is to provide a safe environment and the highest quality of life in which all people may live, work, and learn.

VISION STATEMENTThe Grandville Police Department is committed to providing professional police services. We are committed to the equality of all people, and to observing the rights of all members of the community. We will exercise sound judgment, in an ethical manner, while providing our services to the community. We will treat all people with dignity and respect.

We will be creative, hard working, and responsive to the needs of the community. We will empower employees to make decisions as they use problem solving techniques in response to problems that have been identified while working with our citizens. We will also work together to educate the public of our expectations as they help us in addressing those problems.

We will operate the police department under fiscally sound principles and respect all the resources that are entrusted to us. We will focus our energy on protecting and improving the quality of life for all people that live, work, and learn in the City of Grandville.
